You'll learn more in the designer briefing. Links ----- This contains standard Book Dash images that your Indesign templates need. Book Dash presentation.joboptions --------------------------------- This is a PDF-export preset. You use it to create a PDF to present at the end of the day. To use it: 1. In InDesign, go to File > Adobe PDF presets… > Define 2. In the dialog, click 'Load'. 3. Select the `Book Dash presentation.joboptions` file and click 'Open'. 4. Back in the dialog, click 'Done'. 5. When you want to export your PDF, just select File > Adobe PDF presets… > Book Dash presentation… Packaging your files -------------------- At the end of today it is VERY IMPORTANT that you package your files. In your cover and interior documents in InDesign, go to File > Package... and follow the steps. It can take a long time to complete, so DO NOT remove the flash drive or quit InDesign while it is working. (You can see whether it is still working by going to Window > Utilities > Background Tasks in InDesign.) This will create a folder that contains everything in your project: text, images and fonts. Put that folder on the flash drive before you hand it in. This ensures that we have everything you used in your book, and that no links (e.g. images) are sitting on your computer and not on the flash drive.
